Banking and finance: the Firm regularly handles complex financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers with a special focus on project and structured finance and cross-border financing. The firm counts many leading banks, developers, financiers and investors as our clients.

Competition Law: the Firm offering includes combination and anti trust advisory and filings; and anti trust litigation at the Competition Commission of India (CCI), the Competition Appellate Tribunal and the Supreme Court. The firm is involved in seminal cases in this rapidly evolving area.

Dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration and litigation): the Firm specialises in corporate and commercial disputes including competition and insolvency matters. And also, providing a range of services including pre-litigation strategy, interim relief processes, settlement negotiation assistance, representation in regional and domestic arbitrations and arbitral award enforcement.

Human resources and employment: the practice is centred on statutory compliance advice, structuring agreements (including employment, termination and exit settlement agreements) and appearing before courts and tribunals. It specialises in employee misconduct issues (including harassment and differential treatment). 

Insolvency and restructuring: represents creditors and debtors in insolvency proceedings, advice on structuring and executing out-of-court and corporate restructurings, distressed M&A sales and provides general advice on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). Its insolvency practice is complemented by a strong banking and finance practice. 

Intellectual property: the Firm provides strategic IP advice, trademarks and patent prosecution, structuring franchising, high-value IP transfer and licensing transactions and IP litigation in all forums. The firm has a robust team and network of technical/scientific resources to support the practice area. 

Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures: the transaction experience covers the entire spectrum, from large acquisitions in the listed space, to global business or asset transfers between conglomerates, to acquisitions in the start-up ecosystem

Private equity and venture capital: the Firm advises global and Indian funds and portfolio companies (ranging from start-ups to mature companies) through all stages of the fund formation, fund raising, angel investments, seed rounds to growth/late stage investments and exits. Its fund formation practice includes structuring and setting up alternate investment funds and INVITs. 

Real estate: the Firm offering includes title review and providing legal opinions; advising on regulatory issues affecting real estate projects; and structuring, drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of documentation (including EPC contracts, O&M contracts, and joint operating agreements). The firm has represented clients on matters involving commercial (offices, shopping malls, restaurants among others), residential, agricultural and factory spaces.
