Jarrod Bayliss-McCulloch is an associate in the Energy, and Natural Resources and Mining, teams at Baker & McKenzie, Melbourne. Jarrod joined the Firm as an associate in 2011 and his prior experience includes working in corporate strategy consulting and development economics. He has advised leading Australian and international companies from the technology and communications, banking and finance, renewable energy and resources industries. Jarrod is also actively involved in the Firm’s pro bono projects and is an accomplished public speaker, having represented the Firm in the Law Institute of Victoria's 2011 Golden Gavel competition.

Practice Focus

Jarrod's practice currently focuses on supporting vendors and purchasers in large energy and resources transactions such as the acquisitions of oil and gas pipelines in Australia. He has also recently advised leading international technology, communications and media companies on commercial contracting and tender issues and has litigation experience in multiple jurisdictions, including in Australia and Malaysia.
